How did you decide to become an artist?
T.J. Cross: I started creating art at the age of 6. My step brother Quincy Walker Jr. Also known as YPDG taught how to write verses and we made songs together. After that I got into hip hop dance, fashion,etc.
The best I have been giving as an artist is that we exist on a level far beyond our bodies.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes I play live and give concerts my latest performance was at Bayshore Mall in Milwaukee WI.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Gold soul theory on the rise.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I am currently promoting Varsity ep dropped August 21 2016. Single from it is SOS Prod.by Lil El. The video to Yeah You Know, No & Unborn Children is out now. More videos to come. Also working on a photoshoot for Proteus Clothing.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would sign a record contract with a major record label. The pros would be major distribution,major opportunities,and major experiences. The cons will be less money than being independent.
