Daniel Sun

Featured artist: J. Capital - Daniel Sun

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist J. Capital.

How did you decide to become an artist?

J. Capital: Well, i grew up on Hiphop so it seems almost like fate to be apart of the culture but, i decided to become an artist after many years of just following friends watching them go through the ups and downs of the game and being in the background working on my skills but more of strong support system for my friends who more polished at that time. Over time i got better and when i had the same people from my own circle who looked up to now pushing me and saying "you got it" i finally after some hesitation gave it a shot and now here i am.

It was from my OG rhyme partna Kev who told me to "Break out of my shell and do you"

- J. Capital

What about concerts? Do you play live?

Yes, you can find me at any one of the local open mic events around the city. I have yet to do a concert though.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

Do yourself a solid favor, know your worth and do it major!
- J. Capital

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Currently, I am working on my 3rd solo project entitled "Daniel Sun" about 3months ago i released "Capital Punishment".

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I would after a certain point career wise but by then i would have really expanded independently. Pros is the exposure and the upfront marketing money. Cons no artist development and most artist because of the contracts end up in debt. The lack of talent from XXL freshmans this speaks to a very big con with going with a major. Thats the type of yall looking for? Im good!.

Any last words?

Shoutout the city Vegas and all the people who support as well as my family

Where can we contact you?

J. Capital: Twitter @Bro_sephLV

Thank you for your time. We wish you and your career the success it deserves.
