How did you decide to become an artist?
P . A . T . LOUISIANA’S FINEST: I always loved music but when I was told by a friend to ”Write learn my own material and rap that instead of whats on the radio” I Still wasn’t convinced! The thing that REALLY made me want to do this is the actual Response that I got when I spit my 1st verse and from that daa forth I was hooked on picking up the mic!!!
No matter what anyone says don’t let it change what you feel in your heart, if you know this is what you love and this is what you want to do then Opinions Shouldn’t matter!!!
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes I do that for sure, not always like with a ”live band” but the dynamics of the band does help the atmosphere drastically!!!
Best punchline you ever wrote?
pass dat microphone to me and its gone get bullied / make a label head timid just to come step to me/ cause aint no 360’s over here, we make ya face ya fears / present HITS that’ll turn ya budget to a BEER!!!
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Currently there are Singles floating around iTunes and all over radio ” #MILLIONBUCKS , C’MON DONT STOP, & #FLYESTONE feat K-Chill, also a mix tape #BRAINFREEZE but they are all leading up to the album (INSIDE THE PEOPLE) & my Ep [The (IT) Factor! And for sure I have many things that dropped in the past just search P . A . T . LOUISIANA’S FINEST and get caught up!
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
IF the $$$ right! Thing about it is that its beneficial to a artist who knows about the ”BUSINESS” side of the industry and know that most of what you get is all ”payback money” so hopefully you starting with QUALITY music that can stick and not be a fad or you will just fade away quickly in this game no doubt!!! Its cool to have the machine behind you when you can make the machine work for you and not against your brand!!!
