Featured artist: Lucid Hip-Hop (The Future) - Philosophy and dreams, meets theology and nightmares
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Lucid Hip-Hop (The Future).
How did you decide to become an artist?
Lucid Hip-Hop (The Future): It was a very natural process, I have always been creative, self motivated, and inspired by music and film.
Learn how to hear no
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I’ve been crafting my sound for a long time. I hope to get signed, release a full length, then tour with it
Best punchline you ever wrote?
You ball? Let’s play. I take shots with Coby bitch I ball all day (I don’t know, they are all good)
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’ve been releasing songs like crazy. I can write a song every day, sometimes 2 songs in a day. I’m rhythmically and lyrically prone.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
For my particular situation, I am looking to get signed. I want to give my life to hip-hop, it’s really not all about money for me.. I want my music to be heard, that is what success means to me, not money. Money will allow me to keep making music, so it is very much a part of it
Any last words?
I’m a lone wolf, it’s been my biggest pit fall breaking into the hip-hop business. I come from Kodiak Alaska, and have moved many times chasing the dream. I put faith in my self, and give shout outs to everyone in the game putting it on the line for their dreams, because I’m all about dreams.
