Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist YoungStarrr The Pharaoh.

How did you decide to become an artist?

YoungStarrr The Pharaoh: I became a artist at 15 years old. I been writing poetry since I was 13 years old and I turned my poetry into music. Through the years, I became better as a artist and I believe listen to some of these artist out now, there can be better music some where. So I pushed myself to become better as a artist and a entertainer.

Don’t let no one turn you from your dream, you set your focus on it and go for it. Believe it, Receive it, and acknowledge it as yours.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

yes I love doing shows. the rush I get on stage in front of a group of people listening to my music is an honor.

Best punchline you ever wrote?


A lot of people out here doing things for instagram, While I’M out here on my getting tryna make a instant grand.

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

I’m Releasing my album in a couple weeks called ”Let Me Out The Cage”. I released a little mixtape called ”Opened The Door” but that was for promotional uses.

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Of course I’ll sign to a label. The label that sign me will witness my work ethic in the studio and on stage. My performance level is on setting my own pace and blowing minds.

Any last words?

I want to give a shout out to God, For opening doors and giving me the focus I need to concentrate on my goal. My family, including my fiance Sierra Rose (who also is into entertainment), My 3 kids (Serene, Angel & Elisa). My mother, who shows her support in many ways and pray for me through my ups and downs. The Alien 321, P-Shaw, Killa Kid, Gabrielle Elisa, all of the LaZerGang Music Group/ P-Shaw Productions family, I thank them because they set my foot into the door so I can begin my own path. I’ve learned through L.D.R.S.H.I.P how to play my rule as a artist and entertainer. To the ones that support me in Philadelphia, friends, family and those unknown, I fully appreciate you and your support.
