Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Gator Getem.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Gator Getem: As I child I always heard music in my head and I wrote alot to vent. I always looked at the world different than everyone else and I decided to let music relay my message to the world. I was 11 years old when I started writing serious. I felt like my artistry is a part of me that has to come out. Its like an alter ego that has alot to say.
Work ten times harder than everyone else you’ll reap ten times the awards. And Do your own thing, Never follow the next trend, Make ’em!
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I do live shows constantly, I love performing its an amazing feeling getting on stage! ill give the people my last breath on stage
Best punchline you ever wrote?
I dont know about best that’s disputable but one of my favorite’s is ”if you knew how I felt you’d say im mobbin for da killin, Danglin from a belt hangin out wit robin williams.”-Getem
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It all depends , if they can offer me what I cant do for myself yea maybe, but if not kick rocks! Pro is the backing you get, con the industry try to change people’s sound n Im bout dOwn with that u gotta keep your sound that’s why it seem like artist 1st albumn is always the best , because its just them! every one after that the label tryin to help the artist make the albumn n sh@!
