Featured artist: JGoth - Rap is an art form and a science
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist JGoth.
How did you decide to become an artist?
JGoth: I started spitting little rhymes I had in my head around parties and people really dug it. Put a couple stupid little tracks together and made a few bucks and was like ”hey I like this” I like rapping on stage. People reciting my lyrics that I never met and saying whatever I feel like. You don’t get to express yourself quite as much as you can on a stage or a track.
Grow and develop into a unique artist, don’t emulate other’s.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Hell yeah I preform live and I go nuts when I get the mic.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
You never met a rapper wit this kind of vernacular stole ya Acura crashed it and sold it back to ya
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Bipolar Emissions EP set to release very shortly. First full studio album.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course I would. The only cons would be selling my self short and getting screwed. I’d go over that contract with a fine tooth comb.
Any last words?
No, fuck Pen Argyl. I represent myself and if anyone can relate to me and what I’m saying then awesome.
