P.G County Maryland Newcomer, live from the underground

Featured artist: Fru - P.G County Maryland Newcomer, live from the underground

Never get your hopes up, work harder and expect less and don’t ever do something crazy to someone you wouldn’t want done to you because the tables always turn and when they do it’s never always in your favor.

Upcoming underground artist Fru just answered some questions. Checkout the interview below and share if you like it.

Thanks for your time. How did you decide to become an artist?

Fru: I am a huge fan of hip-hop for starters. I could honestly say growing up I didn’t care about nothing else but hip-hop. So with that said , I started writing down lyrics from my favorite songs and learning how to rap to them, then next adding my own words to the cadence then eventually created my own style plus I used to rap in most cyphers I came across. But what really made me decide to become an artist was when I realized there were no major artists in the DMV area and I also felt like I had a unique story to tell. Instead of doing as a hobby why not pursue to the max.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

Yeah I play live , we are currently setting up some live performances for June so be on the lookout for that.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

It’s funny how you die for everything you love but live for everything you hate.

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Currently I’m working on the release of my EP ”Polished Misfit” which is dropping in July, I released a mixtape with Dj Superstar Jay Called ”I’m Going Back Vol.1” which you could find everywhere online .

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

At first I would sign a record contract in a hearbeat but that was before I learned the business, I would only sign a contract on my own terms especially when Im sure I’m bringing just as much to the table. It’s not whats cracked up to be , the wrong type of deal could possibly end your carreer.

Shoutouts and credits to the fam?

Too many shout outs to mention so I’ll just say peace and love to all my peoples.

So how can we contact you?

Thank's for your answers, keep grindin'.
