How did you decide to become an artist?
Stretch-Boogie: Being a die-hard Hip-Hop head and learning I had the lyrical ability that matched who I was listening to. I always felt like it was my purpose.
Always be yourself and never compromise your honesty or personal convictions.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I am always looking for opportunities to showcase my talent and works.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
…and this Hip Hop 101, and Im handing out free lessons and emcees who thinking of testing I’ll just gut em like a C-section, deliverance…
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I self-released an EP, Nappy Skilmore’s Delirium through SongCast and am currently working on full-length LP, Hard Head Heavy Heart.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would sign with a major if approached by the major to expand my brand and to retain my creative freedom.
