Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist $moking Rico.
How did you decide to become an artist?
$moking Rico: I decided to just by doing it, but I’m still crafting my art form. Soon enough, something new for music will come from me.
”Make music, not noise.” Also, ”Follow what’s true to you.”
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I’ve played live only once. I plan to start concerts in the Winter of 2014.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Ummm… I really don’t know. Since I don’t write anything down it’s hard to remember.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’m working on a new sound. Something beastly. I released my demo tape called Lost on my sight a year ago. www.smokingrico.com
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes I would for the experience and of course the money but I have to be responsible and ready to take on the workload.
