New Society

Featured artist: Gamble - New Society

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Gamble.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Gamble: I’ve always enjoyed poetry. My dad got me into poetry and the the arts as a kid. I wanted to pursue a career in music after I recorded my first song with my friend Sha. The inspiration came from all the feedback I was getting and people telling me I should take it seriously. Nonetheless, a year later I was gearing up to drop my first mixtape titled, ”Protect the robot” which you can find on Hotnewhiphop.com. The rest is history.

The best advice given to me as an artist was ”Stay true to yourself” I’ve always lived by that code.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

Not at the moment but in the future for sure. I’m just perfecting the music and visuals as of late.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

Usually, the gravel that I walk on respect me, I balled, probably woulda went pro if I was a lefty.
