Seattle New Rock Star Making waves

Featured artist: Reji Lefluer - Seattle New Rock Star Making waves

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Reji Lefluer.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Reji Lefluer: I started playing the piano in church at the age of four and wrote my first song by 14. By this time I became skilled with guitar and thanks to the encouragement of family and friends to pursue a career in music I began my first band by Junior year in high school.

The best advice given to me was from a local musician in Seattle growing up who told me to always stay true to the arts

- Reji Lefluer

What about concerts? Do you play live?

I love performing live. I treat small shows as concerts and love to add improvisation to my show

Best punchline you ever wrote?

Reji Lefluer, Keeping the arts alive and dreamy
- Reji Lefluer

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

I am currently promoting my latest CD Gypsy Creole and working on new material for my solo career and collaborations with other local artist

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I would highly consider signing a record contract to enhance my presence through out the world. I feel as long as an artist takes care to protect themselves and their art from being manipulated or stolen the sky is the limit in what they can achieve from a record contract. Though offered once upon a time, thus far I do not have a record contract and am not ashamed to promote my own work through social media and word of mouth

Any last words?

I’d like to give a shout out to first and foremost God, My mom (Smokey) and amazing manager Karen Zammit who keep me sane and motivated. A shout out to Bubba Jones and Critical Sun family, Phil Cordier, Felicia Loud, Silver Shadow D and all my music family in Seattle and Austin.

Where can we contact you?

Thank you for your time. We wish you and your career the success it deserves.
