Bringing back the lyrical side of rap

Featured artist: J.O.B - Bringing back the lyrical side of rap

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist J.O.B.

How did you decide to become an artist?

J.O.B: Ever since middle school to get threw the boredom of class Ive been writing verses.. back then they were just stupid lines and basic ryhmes but once high school came around I started to get alittle more serious with it and writing became a habit..more like an addiction, up to the point where I had 3 to 4 hundred pages of verses and punchlines written down. After high school I went to college and continued to get more serious about becoming an actual artist. After one year of college I decided to drop out. That was about 3 years ago. Now I’m working on a mixtape that will hopefully give hip-hop fans and any other fans that like real, raw and intricate lyrics some excitement and entertainment. I dont do it for the money, I dont do it for hopes of fame, I write for myself and for anyone else who enjoys the music I make

Never listen to anyones opinion, stay in your lane and DO YOU.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

After i dropped out of college I did a show at the middle east near Boston and opened up for Memphis Bleek.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

Its hard to choose one off the top of my head but one that comes to mind is…Fuck yolo drake I got nine lives, you cats pussy an all ya dogs bark no bite.

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Im working on a mix tape right now, ive released songs in the past with shitty recordings but this mixtape is going to be the real deal.

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Depends on who it would be with and each record label would have different pros and cons so it all really depends.

Any last words?

Shout out to the people that support me. They know who they are. I represent myself. J.O.B
