Featured artist: Louie Vic - European wave of artists influencing the culture

As part of our ongoing "Rap's New Generation" series, today we sat down with the upcoming underground artist Louie Vic from London to talk about his recent music, his upcoming projects, his career advice and his overall experiences being in the music industry and he did not disappoint...

Thanks for taking the time to talk with us, Louie Vic! Let's go back to the beginning of your career. How did you decide to become an artist?

Louie Vic: Growing up under the influence of American music, I found myself inspired on how rap music is allowing individuals to express themselves. Since a kid I've been amazed on how you can add rhythm to your stories and energy. I am blessed to take the initiative of tuning my energy in this way.

They won't see the vision until they see the dream go

What about concerts? Do you play live?

The next step for me after releasing a few tracks is to perform, you will catch me all over London

Best punchline you ever wrote?

F the newspaper man's on this new paper .. Won't lie catching a vibe is more important for me than hitting punchlines
- Louie Vic

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

I'm currently working towards an EP, I've just released Victor Hugo as a single to promote my brand. A lot of creative stuff is on the way

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

At this moment that's not one of my targets. I don't like giving advice to people, just want to support anyone taking actions from their highest point of being and that's their heart.

Any last words?

I want to give a shoutout to my home country of Romania and to everyone supporting me since day -1.

Where can people follow you to stay up-to-date?
