Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Pulga Phil M.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Pulga Phil M: I been Rapping since 93, i was 15 at the time.
I used to sk8 then, and Rap Music, was everytime connected to this sport.
In 97 i started my first album, wich was releaed
in 2000, then i travel throw some countries to get some money to buy the Hardware to make my recording studio, then in 2008 i returned to Portugal, and been working on HipHop/Rap since then.
" The World have 7.5 Billion cityzens, don´t worry if someone says that your not good, just believe in yourself, and what you do. "
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I already play live many times, from north to south in Portugal, but my goal is to go abroad.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
" … it´s been a long time, and i been waiting, rapping, Making, Make me a King."
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I´m work on two Albuns " NOT FAMOUS " and " Matthews 13:24 " , this are my 7th and 8th Album, and 2 more participation Collects , " BOOM BAP Nº IV from the Producer INTELEKTU ", and " DE VOLTA AOS CLÁSSICOS from Angolan Producer Daniel Macedo.
My Latest single is KARMA ft. Alzira Afonso.
Since 2008 i release 5 Albuns and one Mixtape.
My Last Album is MMXIV 7 PECADOS, with 23 tracks. On Reverbnation site, i´m ranked 1st on Portugal Rap for 130 weeks in a Row.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
My dream is to sign a major record label, that wy i been working so much, to be indepent its great, but not to much guidance, and that do not happen with a Major Label.
