Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist D-Toc.
How did you decide to become an artist?
D-Toc: Almost ten years ago, I saw some awards show (probably Grammy) and there was Eminem… and in that time (silly me), I get an idea… "If he can do it, I can do it to!"… and that was the moment, when all starts.
Be yourself, because almost everybody wants to be someone else..
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I had few concerts in Czech Republic (because I'm living here,..), but now I'm trying to concentrate on myself and get better everyday… and make great tracks.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
"Je to to co je a tak to taky bude"
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Few weeks ago, I have released free mixtape called "Freetape" with 7 tracks on it, and slowly I'm working with my friend LB on the single called "O.K." for upcoming joint mixtape "LeaDer".
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Man, that really depends on the terms of the contract. To be honest, Im doing what Im doing for the Hip Hop, especially for the Czech Hip Hip scene and my motivation is to make things better for anybody by doing what I like..
Any last words?
I want to greet my family, LB, my friends and my fans. Also specially shoutout to friends and fans in Czech cities like Prague – Lehovec, Kolín, Pardubice and Přelouč.
