Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist JayJayDidIt.
How did you decide to become an artist?
JayJayDidIt: I decided to become artist because, When I first met Zaytoven, he told me my beats was nice and I should keep making music. That inspired me to keep working harder and harder on my talent and eventually make it a career.
The best advice that was given to me was, Always keep learning, you will always learn something new. Keep feeding yourself knowledge.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I use to do a lot of DJing in Madison WI, But I kept my focus on the producing and engineering part of music.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Be your own boss
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I just released a beat tape on March 17,2017 called New World Order. Its a mixtape full of dope instrumentals all produced by me. I'm now working on a album for my artist in Milwaukee WI to help them get heard and show people their talent.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would sign a record contract but I want to be free from contact drama such as, people taking advantage of me or stealing from me. I like being a independent producer because I free, I own my own masters and rights and I'm my own boss. The good thing about signing a record contract is that you can work with the artist directly from the label and that had been my dream for the longest
Any last words?
I'm representing Milwaukee WI.I would like to give a shoutout to my record label MTS Records we always making dope music and finding new artist. I also would like to shoutout my production squad MurdaTrapSquad. We have made some dope tracks together and we keep good music coming every week.
Where can we contact you?
JayJayDidIt: Contact me directly on twitter @JayJay_GotBeatz or email at murdatrapsquad@gmail.com
Thank you for your time. We wish you and your career the success it deserves.
