Ike Dirty out of Dayton Ohio

Featured artist: Ike Dirty - Ike Dirty out of Dayton Ohio

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Ike Dirty.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Ike Dirty: I started rapping when I was 7 with my neighbor Dion. We would just record ourselves free styling on his karaoke machine. Once Dion told me I was sweet with the flow I just started rapping everywhere and it would shock people because I stutter. Once I got enough feedback I just ran with it I knew that was my god given gift.

The best advice I received as an artist came from the Ying Yang Twins in Cleveland Ohio when I opened up for them. They told me to always stay true to myself and the music.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

I do give concerts. I haven't had any of my own but that's all in motion as we speak. The shows I have done have all ended in pandemonium. When I opened for the Ying Yang twins they didn't want me yo get off stage it's was crazy.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

Get back get back dats essential i stretch da pack to its potential i need mucho mota if i hit my migo he gone tell me give him un momento

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Currently I am working on a project I released a visual 2 months back when I went by 3rdShyft to Lil herbs Just Bars so when you go to YouTube just type in 3rdShyft Just Bars and it should be the first thing that pops up

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes for the right number and amount of artistic freedom. The pros to being signed is exposure and promo because the label is going to do their best to promote their investment of course but the consequences as we all know can be the restrictions they put on the artist and I range between genres too much to be confined to one lane

Any last words?

Gotta shout out my team MydNyte Muzik (MNM) Dayton Ohio and my team in Chattanooga Tennessee Less Talk More Action (LTMA) wanna shout out Destry Perry my brother for the promo and Yello Pain for the videos. Shouts out to anybody that supports me and my music. Can't forget my city Dayton Ohio Gem City stand up
