Featured artist: iLLUXTRIOUS - Female Producer
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist iLLUXTRIOUS.
How did you decide to become an artist?
iLLUXTRIOUS: Music was always in me since I was a little girl… I would always listen to instrumental music, I played instruments in school, watched my family make hits but it was when I was in my early 20's that I found a gift I never knew I had which is making beats I taught myself.
It's not about the money it's about doing what you love and the success will come.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
No. I have videos of me making beats but nothing live.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Don't let me being a woman fool you.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Currently working on my instrumental beat tape. I realeased Eunoia which was a free instrumental beat tape I also got a placement on thesilentceleb new EP the silent celeb project which is on iTunes now. Also working with Tone P and para music group on something. Alien clothing and I have something set up real soon to release And also a new artist coming named St. Shamoht.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes I would if it was equally fit for me and the label. I would rather do independent though you have more freedom. Pros: more exposure, great branding, more artist to work with, management. Cons: less freedom to your artistic self, less money.
Any last words?
