Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Aaron Young.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Aaron Young: I have always had a love for music, no matter what genre it may be. I started off writing poetry back in 7th grade and as I got older I played around with a few beats. I started taking my craft serious around my senior year in high school. I have an ear for music and when I heard my own songs I just felt as if people everywhere should hear it not just because it’s me, but because it’s actually good. I love what I do I have a passion for composing music.
Stay independent as long as you can.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I have done a few shows here and there, but nothing legit yet.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
I don’t think you understand me I’m something that you can’t handle aiming there weapons not knowing you out of ammo I ambush
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’m currently working on a few singles that will be released around mid June on iTunes, amazon, Google play, and over 30 other Internet retailers. I released a project called ”No Panties” in February you can find that on YouTube or sound cloud at A_Young_forever
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
i wouldn’t sign with a major until I was fully established as an independent artist and made enough money on my own. I think worldwide exposure is good but making it independent shows the hustle and work you put in.
