Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Wolverine.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Wolverine: Scott Kent, also known as rapper Wolverine, adopted the persona of the famous Marvel comic creation, full of rage and the unbreakable metal adamantium, long before Hugh Jackman brought the character to movie screens. And while Jackman honed his craft at the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Kent also spent years honing his in Perth, except he did it in cyphers, studios and live shows around the city.With the release of his new mixtape Split Personality and his 5th solo album Bloodsport ,speakers worldwide are soon going to need adamantium speakers.
He is also a talented and prolific producer, making beats, recording, mixing & mastering local and national talent, through his studio and record label Headnod Records.
He has also performed and promoted gigs at some of Australia’s premier live venues, and his intense live show has seen him share the stage with acts including Blackalicious, Method Man, Redman, Gza, Muggs, Foreign Legion, Gangstarr,Rza just to name a few.
inspired by the likes of B.I.G, Wu Tang, NWA,Public Enemy and local acts including Hilltop Hoods, Trem & Brad Strut.
It's been a long road, but Wolverine continues to shine in the spotlight.

I have played hundreds of gigs and put on alot to, both local and international

The beginning of the end, with cats who rap hollow Styles borrowed, the sheep no doubt follow Trends bend the rules to suit ya Wolverine will shut you down like computer
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Just released my 5th solo album, which if you include mixtapes is the 10th release in 10 years, i am also planning another album for release in the next 6 months
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
of course, if i had artistic freedom, i run my own label, but it’s real just a small indie atm
