Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Kev Clemente.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Kev Clemente: I started rapping when I was 16 in a group with my best friend & my brothers. It was just a hobby for me. I didn’t take it serious until my older cousin(who was an aspiring artist) was killed that same year. When I was 4 my uncle was killed, who was an aspiring artist as well. In 2012 we disbanded the group & I went solo. I grew up around all kinds of music so it came natural to me.

What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes I play live. On June 4th I’m performing at an event called Thursday Night Live at the smokehouse grill in Pittsburgh.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Saw my uncles vision now I’m fulfilling his prohecy.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’m currently working on my 3rd project. I put out two mixtapes. Kev Cllemente vol. 1 in 2013 & vol. 2 on May 21.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
At the moment, no. Maybe sometime in the future. I’m just focused on building my brand right now.

I was born & raised on the south side of Pittsburgh, PA. Shout out to my City, The south side, Monster,KenDaGod, Tay King, DJ KB, R.I.P. D.I.G., R.I.P. Kee. I do it for y’all
