How did you decide to become an artist?
J.R. The Golden Ticket: I first started writing poetry at the age of 7.
My family would always listen to all varieties of music, so its been a part of my life since i was born but i really got into making music at the age of 12 when a mentor helped me out and gave me the opportunity and equipment to create my first self produced project, and ever since then, its been on.
Don’t Ever Let Someone Make You Give Up On Your Dream and Ambitions. Prove Them Wrong With Your Work Ethic.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes. i play live and i also perform concerts.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
”Never suffer defeat, leave the beat to my heart, to reap all the leeches that come with this game. Took a leap in this jungle with lions and tigers to come out victorious, remember the name.”
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Im working on my 3rd installment in my ”Grind Season” mix tape series and my first official album.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes i would. I love the independent scene and i need my creative control. And do the music i love to do. Will not be controlled by a label or sell out.
