Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Courtney P. aka KingCobu.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Courtney P. aka KingCobu: I grew up in Tulane. Gangster Shit has been around me sense day 1. I sold dope all my life. I been Freestyling for years just never paid attention to it. But a couple years ago my cuzz made me take myself serious. So The KingCobu was born.
I remember talking to R Kelly threw MySpace couple years ago. He listened to 1 of my freestyle flows and told me to speak up. Say what i mean and mean what i say and most important never change.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
No. I haven’t got my production crew together. I can’t wait to do some soon.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
This The KingCobu! I don’t see no hater. All i really see is that fucking down south paper.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’ve been working on this Drug Infection Album for years. It my Soul.
