Featured artist: LD - Music is life
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist LD.
How did you decide to become an artist?
LD: Well, I decided to become a hip hop artist after watching my uncle freestyle on the mic. For some reason, music has always calmed me down and gave me a sense of completion.
The best advice that I’ve ever been given is to always stay humble and never forget where you came from or the people that helped you get where you’re going.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I have done live performances. I’ve mostly done showcases, as well as a few birthday parties.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
”Independently, crazy metaphors and similes. Display ability, them millions run to your vicinity/” -Ten Rap Commandments
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I am actually currently working on three projects, two solos and one with my uncle & brother.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Personally, I would stay independent for awhile before I sign a contract with a major label. The music industry has changed alot throughout the years, some good changes & some bad.
Any last words?
I wanna give a shoutout to my team hollow music, my family and fans who support my music. I appreciate all the love. I also wanna give a shoutout to my hometown of Atlanta, GA & Rochester, NY. One love.
