Featured artist: Luminous Meek - Young Talented Artist From The South
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Luminous Meek.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Luminous Meek: I decided to become an artist because like I really love music and it helps me to relieve stress and just get my point across, music is my life I cant never give it up.
To just be yourself and continue to work hard, like dont try and change who you are because of someone else just grind and it will all pay off. Also that you have to go get what you want because nothing is given to you.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
No unfortunately i have not performed live yet, i will be soon once im comfortable in my career and once everything is organized.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
I do this for my future, not to please nobody.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Well i am working on a new single called ”Bust A Door Down”. I just released my debut mixtape called ”Just Beginning” on 10/13 and hopefully i will begin working on my next mixtape soon, dont have a title yet but yeah.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It all depends if all the ducks are in a row and its a fair, well grounded deal. The pros i think are making sure you are not just being put on a roster just to be put on it you wanna make sure that you are able to really showcase your talent on that roster as well and not be shelved or just get exposure for a small amount of time then you just fall to the bottom.
