Featured artist: TBagg! - Who in the world is TBagg!?
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist TBagg!.
How did you decide to become an artist?
TBagg!: During the summer of 1999, my homie and I found a Jay-Z instrumental. He looked over at me and said, ”we should be rappers.”
Later that day, my cousin found the rhymes and said, ”is was the wackest ish he ever saw in his life.”
The best advice given to me as an artist would be, ”a real mc can make any rhyme flow to any beat.”
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes! I love to perform live and still get down in local ciphers/cyphers and friendly mc battles from time to time
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Awww man. Lord forgive me. Imma give you a classic line i used to start a few of my battles with tho warm up.Yo! You see me, I look at rap as a sport / and I leave cats hangin’, like old titties without bra support
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’m currently working on the marketing/promo plan for my next single entitled, ”2 Hood”
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes! I would sign a record contract with a major label. According to me, there are no real cons to that. I know that with a contract, comes obligations, so as long as I fufill my obligations and the compensation is fair for all involved, then I see all pro. But if I had to pick a con, I say, they might try to make me do a love song for the chicks to be on my LL Cool T tip. I been doin pushups. lol
