Featured artist: Oddit-T - The odd one
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Oddit-T.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Oddit-T: Growing up I loved the arts of all kinds. Drawing, painting, story writing, instrument playing and poetry all stuff like that. Poetry was my man focus most of the time. I tried playing piano but my fingers keep cramping. I drew quite a bit and loved it but not as much as the word flow. I always listened music growing up and poetry gave me that rythemic harmony the music I listened to gave me. Until one day my buddy was playing some instrumentals as I reread a poem I was writing. I noticed the flow it had and instantly transcended in to the rap, hip hop scene.
Do what you love to do and be who you want to be just never give up.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I do, just at this point in time I am not. I’m looking to do something real soon though.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
ill be all over the web like my name is Peter parker / step to stop the bloodshed in the city that I’m part of
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I mainly been doing single releases, but the group I have worked with closely still, have had me on mixtapes. I alone yes am working on a first time solo album.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes and no depending. I think its a quicker step to get major and make real money. but its a major step that if not taaking carefully could be a step backwards. and it would most likely be the a scar if you failed.
Any last words?
