Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Jack Frost.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Jack Frost: Truthfully, i was watching a Lil Bow Wow video and said, ’he sucks, i can do that.’ and from then i started rhyming and writing verses. I got serious when i turned 19 and became a member of Beats/Flows of the East Side Arts Alliance (ESAA) in East Oakland, CA.
Have fun, because not everyone will like EVERYTHING you do.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I do perform live, and i love to do it.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
they try to cut me down but all i see is their demise. ima pheonix rocin cold flames, all i do is rise
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I have released a lot of singles on reverbnation.com under Jack Frost Da Boss. and ive got a album coming called The Cold Front.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
i would and the pros are publicity and more ppl listening to you and your message…the cons to me is the stress of fulfilling the contract when averybody wants a handout.
