Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist De-C.

How did you decide to become an artist?

De-C: I was about 14 & we used to freestyle in the school restrooms. Everybody said I had skills so I started writing.

That the game is to be sold not told. No one is going to show you how, and if they do, it won’t be FREE!

- De-C

What about concerts? Do you play live?

Yes, I do concerts all the time. With record sales being what they are today, doing concerts is a most.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

You better man up before it be a man down!

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Currently I’m working on a new mixtape with a group I’m in called ”5th Parish ”. In February of 2013 I dropped my mixtape ”Country Talkin Gangsta Walkin” on Datpiff. com

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

With the way the industry is today, if you can build a big enough buzz, your better off independent

Any last words?
