Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Young Splurge.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Young Splurge: I was born and raised in the south. I played sports and had a place in my heart for the band. My director not only showed my how to play instruments but also noticed my passion for it. I was given assignments to listen to different types of music and tell why they were hits of its time. Also the area I was in had many talented people who could sing , dance and rap. I saw the benefits that came along so I decided to become a artist myself and build my craft.
I was told to be true to myself as an artist and to my music no matter what.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes, I do.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
”Cause Imma Stay True to my Religion, And if any N*gga cross then imma prove I’m not a Christian ”
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I am currently working on the sequel to my latest mixtape ”R.U.I.N.” in which will be entitled ”R.U.I.N.2”. (Raw, Uncut, Ignorant & Nasty)
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course, but the deal would have to be right.
