Featured artist: Pureverb - Artist Interview: Pureverb
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Pureverb.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Pureverb: I always enjoyed writing stories when i was younger, i branched out and started writing poems that developed into songs and when i realised i could recite them accurately in a rhythmic way, that was the stemming of my emcee career. I have been doing it for 13 years and going strong
”Identify, understand and respect who you are as an artist from day 1, don’t lose sight of who you set out to be when you started out”
What about concerts? Do you play live?
i have opened for some big names like tech n9ne, ICP, moka only from swollen members, and have done a total of 14 shows to date.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
”If you want to test time, the best lines are when it’s coming from you, i’m taking life serious so i don’t smother the truth, but i sense it when speaking to you, my songs are tighter than the rope around the neck of a convict in 1842”
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I can’t release any info on my current project, you will all see soon enough.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends a lot on the situation and conditions, probably not, just because i know a hell of a lot more now than i did before.
Any last words?
