I Do It Major!

Featured artist: Lost Angel of Havik - I Do It Major!

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Lost Angel of Havik.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Lost Angel of Havik: It really just started as me wanting to try and write a song. I was 16 at the time. My sister’s boyfriend at the time was a producer/singer/rapper and I had a cd of his beats and that night I just popped it in and went to writing. Figured since I like to write stories, I could write a song.

Do not EVER put yourself in a box when it comes to your style. Stay versatile.

- Lost Angel of Havik

What about concerts? Do you play live?

I perform live when given the proper opportunity.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

I’m the alpha and omega from beginning to end, When i’m deceased, my memories bleed in the ink from this pen, That mean I’m livin’ through the lyrics til’ the day that i’m spent, And when I’m gone, the love of my life, will see me breathin’ again”
- Lost Angel of Havik

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

I currently have 7 completed projects and I’m working on another.

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes. Pros being the resources that working and dealing with a major afford an artist. Cons would having make sure you have good mind people around you to help manage the business side of things because the industry can be very cutthroat.

Any last words?

I’d like to first and foremost shout out my city/hometown Takoma Park, Maryland. Also I wanna shout out my beautiful wife for riding with me and always being there for support. Much love to my fellow Havik brothers: Rayne, Secrets, and Stak. Shout to my homies and fellow artists out there grindin’, So Syncere, Trait Razor, Rippin Rhymes, Gabrielle Buonpastore, etc…and last but not least. Thank you to my fans and supporters!!!
