Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Ant Montana.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Ant Montana: I always loved music, since I was young I would always look at the rappers on TV and be like ”That’s what I wanna do…That’s what I wanna be, I wanna rap. So I started writing when I was 6 years old.
The best advice given to me was be yourself. Don’t give a f**k what people think and to have fun with it. I mean I always took my music very seriously but at the same time I like to just have fun with it.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Currently I don’t have any shows booked or any gigs but once we get things figured out all that will come into play.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Its so many to pick from, you would have to pick one yourself.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Yeah, I’m currently working a LP titled ”Die: The Mixtape” we don’t have solid release date for yet, mostly because I haven’t figured out who I want to host it yet. But that mixtapes gonna be f**king insane! As far as my work in the past I rather not speak on.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
That’s a good question. I mean, right now I’m not really sweating it but if the numbers are looking good then yeah.
