Featured artist: Tucan - Join the Pipeline
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Tucan.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Tucan: I decided to become an event planner business owner of Prospect Empire Marketing and Management for one purpose. Many artists in the underground scene don’t have the ability to travel outside their area. I help facilitate with connections here in El Paso, Texas to come perform, as long as I get the connections from said artists area. That way we can get an artist from the 915 out of their area.
It is not going to be easy helping artist get heard.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Artist that are pulled are expected to be the headliner so a full act is needed. For consideration we look for 3 songs to 4 songs with their own lyrics and beats.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Do everything you do with your heart, mind, and soul.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I am currently working on performance slots for opening acts in Power 102.1 Power Jam Festival.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the pipeline of Prospect Empire Marketing and Management leads to this it would be great exposure.
