Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist J.O.
How did you decide to become an artist?
J.O: Being in the studio and running the street with my homie Red( MastaMind) who at that time was with the hottest artist (Esham), and member of the group (N.A.T.A.S) on the east side of Detroit Mich.
Treat yourself as a business.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Im not large enough yet lol to give concerts, but yes I do give shows.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Beat you up like a MPC, kick drum, sounding off like a tommy gun!
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’m currently working on a mix-tape entitled I GOT DA JUICE due to drop this summer. No I’ve never released anything in the past although I featured on some songs with other artist and was in the group G.G.M.G that released a couple songs ”Who Dat” & ”Takin Pictures”
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course I would if the deal is right and my lawyer confirms its in my best interest. When you make yourself hot you are already getting bank so when the labels come you have options and say so.
