Thanks for taking the time to talk with us, JAYYSKYY! Let's go back to the beginning of your career. How did you decide to become an artist?

JAYYSKYY: I wrote my first rhyme at the kitchen table when I was 11 or 12 I think I was supposed to be doing my times tables or something I sat there for a few hours and composed most of what would be my first song I think it was called "ball all day" from that day forward I was a artist .

Never give up if u have a passion about your music and your dream never stop even if it takes 20 years.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

I have been playing live shows since 2009 all over the south .

Best punchline you ever wrote?

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

I just released a single on all streaming platforms entitled "New Religion " it is the first release off my upcoming EP Dreamers Disease .

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

At this point in my career it would be hard for me to fully sign to a major label with our all of my creative control I'm so self sufficient that I only really need the label for one thing "money"

Any last words?

I love Houston I will always love it !!

Where can people follow you to stay up-to-date?
