Thanks for taking the time to talk with us, Gemini rico! Let's go back to the beginning of your career. How did you decide to become an artist?
Gemini rico: I was always into music growing up listening to 2pac biggie ugk Scarface OutKast run DMC mc lite etc. But I really started making music after the loss of my cousin lil Steve and every since then I put the pin and pad down and started speaking from my heart
2pac "keep it real with your lyrics no matter what don't be afraid to go deep into your roots and let it spill out"
What about concerts? Do you play live?
When I was young I use to perform city to city with my group "ETERNAL HUSTLAS" we performed in Chicago for a event called " Get seen get signed" I performed for Ludacris event "DTP MADNESS" I performed and opened up for "Ruka Puff"
Best punchline you ever wrote?
"Every day a nigga die that will never change police out here killing us too wonder who the blame, cuz all I see is the same thing we searching for some justice still trapped in this same DREAM"
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I just recently dropped a mixtape called "Better Now then Never" on sound cloud and I dropped a album called " A walk in my shoes" 2 years ago and now I'm working on a new project called " GEMINI RICO"
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I will sign a label deal instead because I know so many people personally thats talented people they just need some one to give them a shot to show their craft to the maximum affects
