How did you decide to become an artist?

Lockness: I started rapping at a young age and was featured on my father's compilation cd at 13 years old. My dad was a producer and worked with numerous Sab Diego artists and realeased the cd "California Livin". After being featured on that, I dropped 2 mixtapes at the age if 16 after moving to Phoenix, Az.

While serving time in the state penitentary an OG that had life told me to push for my dreams and live for those who can't.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

Recently I have been doing alot if shows in California and Arizona. I have linked up with the "Mad Mac Foundation" and have done back to school events to inspire the youth in cities like Watts, Compton, and all over LA. Other participants in these events were YG, Problem,and West Coast pioneers like Kid Frost and Warren G. I have also done a few lowrider events in LA with W.C of West Side Connection and Lil Eazy E. Big show coming up in June with Dj Quik , The Luniz , Suga Free and various other West Coast legends at the Wilmington Sports Complex.

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

I am currently working on a joint project with ny homie Red Nose entitled "No Breaks", and will have my solo ep ready soon.

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Opportunites have presented itself but theres nothing like being your own boss and engaging real fans. Open to partnerships but never been a puppet.
