How did you decide to become an artist?
DREVO: Music has always been a big part of my life, i can remember my first rap record i loved was Kool Mo Dee's "Wild Wild West." then as i got older i learned that i could also hold a tune so i became a huge R&B fan untill i was 14, then i started learning about 2Pac, OutKast, Goodie Mob, etc.
The best advice given to me as a Artist is to stay true to who i am. I am born n Raised in Atlanta and when i was coming up it wasn't alot of rappers in Atlanta, now and days everybody and their mama raps but the question is can u be a ARTIST? its not too many artist coming out of atlanta today and thats why people always tell me stay true to who i am.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
well i wouldn't be a Artist if I didn't play to live or do concerts.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
you tryina keep her Glen Close while she be Robin Given, it up to all of the homies regardless of position…
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I am currently working on 2 Mixtapes coming October 27th, GRUSOME and My Life As a Scorpio. My Life as a Scorpio is more of my R&B side of life and GRUSOME is more of my Rap side of life and it all comes together on my LP that will be released at a later date.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
The only way i would sign a record deal if i am granted creative control over all my music as well as royalties and merch. if I can't get that then i will remain independent.
