Featured artist: Lenny Nostra - A Tour into Nostra's World
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Lenny Nostra.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Lenny Nostra: Since I was very young, I was always around music . My grandfather was a Dj playing all over the Dominican Republic playing Latin music . My oldest uncle played the guitar and very masterful at his craft. When I was 12 my brother started rapping . I thought it was so cool and wanted to be like him so much so I started writing ever since .
If you can dream it. You can achieve it. Grind everyday and don't sleep, put great effort in all you do and you will see marvelous results
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I love going live and doing concerts. It makes me feel alive and also interact with different people. I'm not gonna lie, I'm always nervous before I get on stage I'm always pacing and freaking out because I think ima mess up, but when that beat drop, I'm back to beast mode
Best punchline you ever wrote?
It's no surprise I got Gucci shades for my eyes and my wrist wear bluer then the sky . Now I see why, bitties joe me like G.I. I guess now one gotta swagger like mine T.I.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Right now I'm just finishing up my latest project called Nostradamus . Nostradamus is probably one of MY most personal project to date. It really talks about all my current situation
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, in this day in age everything is digital . You're your own marketing company . You just need to distribute and market yourself well to get exposure
