Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Yung CaKY.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Yung CaKY: where I grew up and the roots traced back to that city and the style and culture of hip hop in Los Angeles
You’re really good for a young rapper. Keep doing what you’re doing lil homie.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
no I haven’t but I would like to
Best punchline you ever wrote?
your flows are just like cotton, they’re easily forgotten
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’m just getting some verses and trying to get a producer and to hopefully drop a mixtape soon
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
it depends on the label and I would do it for the generation and bring a little of the 90’s back and show people what rap really is. I don’t do it for the money or fame. I do it for the generation. I’m a Christian and I believe in God.
