Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Urg7.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Urg7: Growing up and being exposed to music at an early age, I fell in love with rhythm and sound. Being exposed to Hip Hop with the release of the then popular Sugar Hill Gang record ” Rappers Delight ” I began to emulate one the rappers of the group taking on his name the Master G as a play off of my name Gerald. Further honing my craft and developing my own musical identity .Going on to complete my first professional recording and record release shortly after graduating high school.

The best advice I recived as an artist was two things , number 1 never sell your publishing and number 2 the 3 P’s, always Push,Promote, and Protect your brand.
