Featured artist: Young Roll Da G - the foundation
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Young Roll Da G.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Young Roll Da G: Coming from the eastside of Detroit I seen alot of thing did alot of things and went through alot my music started out by just hanging with a couple of friends at that time I was nothing. but from the drama of the streets and always moving around alot I started to feel as if I had no one I can really talk too about anything or that would listen. it was so much going on and all I would do is bottle it up that’s not good for anyone through my music I was able to find a way to vent. I started to realize everything happened for a reason in my songs im speaking about my life and the events that happens in my world then noticed its people out here going through the same or similar things when I thought it was just me. I figured I know what I’m supposed to do with the power of music I can teach people the signs to call out the b.s. Before its too late because knowledge is power if i knew what I know back then I probably won’t even be doing this interview. but I have no regrets my past made me who I am but I control the future because when you know better you do better.
stay focused always be humble never get comfortable and never bring the same work to table aways be different.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
yes perform live try to that old school nwa and 2pac feeling when i do.
Best punchline you ever wrote?

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
im working on my mixtape 100 MILLION DOLLARS DREAMS drops june 7th will be hitting band camp first i also have my last mixtape you can check out on band called THE ROAD TO THE DREAMS
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
at this moment i would likely say no because what i do is alot different from what the mainstream artists do i can let anyone tell me what to rap about i don’t rap what people wanna hear i rap what they need to hear and plus them numbers gotta be right.
Any last words?
