How did you decide to become an artist?
Tez DA Hitmaka: I decided to become an artist right around the time of my grandmothers passing. This was roughly 2005 or 2006. I was 15 then and my grandmother died right n front of me and I still didn’t get a chance to tell her goodbye,or I love you. So I started writing and singing what I wanted to say to her and anyone else from that point on.

What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes Yes Yes…… I do it all. I sing a cappella, I sing on da tracks, I sing everywhere I go…..

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’m currently working on Tez Da Hitmaka Vol.1 Coming Real Soon!!!!! This will be my first album I’ve ever done and I hope the streets love it…so far everyone that has heard me sing tells me I need to make a CD. Now that its in motion I think they’re more excited then I am. So I’m expecting positive feedback on this project.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No. I would not sign with a major label. Think about it… why would I sign with you give you 65 percent of what I write, sing, and perform? You didn’t write it. you didn’t sing it.and you damn show ain’t performing it. so no I’m not one of these young dumb cats out here selling myself short because I know what I’m worth I wake up every morning and sale myself the best dream that can be sold to me. Can’t nobody else tell me nothing that nobody in jail ain’t told me, No different from what the OGs in DA hood ain’t told me……….YOU GONE MAKE IT!!!!!! And as long as I can sing n God put breath in my body I’m not gone stop til Everybody in the world hear me out!!!!!! That’s on Martaja!!!!!!

I want to thank my mother. Without that lady I don’t know what I would do. I want to shout out my hometown Baton Rouge, Louisiana!!!!!!!!! I’m gone hold it down for dat raggedy mane!!!
