How did you decide to become an artist?
Ruso aka Benny ButtonZ: I have been doing music ever since I was a Small child. I realized that I could actually become something around the age of 12. I recorded my first song when I was 12 and was shocked at how good it sounded, and so was everybody else that was shown the track. I didn’t start to get serious with music until I was about 18 though. I had a few ups and downs but stuck it out and here I am 10 years later with a solid head on my shoulders and a brain full of Hits!. I have worked hard to Perfect my craft and sound and have been quite successful in the last few years. I really decided to do music full time after hearing a number of Friends, Family, People I didn’t Know, and Big named artists tell me I was the Real Deal. That was enough to boost my Confidence and at that Point I made my Mind up and decided to do music for the Rest of my Life.

What about concerts? Do you play live?
I have done literally Hundreds of Live shows in the last few years, and I love it! I tour and have toured with some really big players in the industry including Strange Music and Battleaxe Warriors, Kottonmouth Kings, ICP, and a alot of other Big Name Artists and a Ton of smaller Local shows that actaully paved the way so i could do these larger shows!!
Best punchline you ever wrote?
The Proof is in the Message that i put in my Projections, so if the Proof is in the Put in here’s a Taste of What’s expected…..To be Honest I have too many to pick!
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I will be releasing my FIrst ”Real” Album this summer as well as three mixtapes feature only a few Artists I personally Respect
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would and actually Plan on doing so very soon. I am currently deciding on which label will give me the Best Type of Situation for my Music Career and my Family, both are Very Important to Me. There are Pro’s and Con’s to Any situation as far as Music Direction for any Serious Artist. I feel that there is a Stigma when the Words Major Label comes into light, just because of how many uneducated Artists there are. Most people simply dont know the Business side of music and that is what honestly seperates ”Professional” from ” Local” not saying that one is more Talented than the Other, but One is by far More Valuable
