Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Unfufu.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Unfufu: It was back in the 80’s when I won my first talent show. Taking home second place prize with a rap that I rememorized from a group in my hood called the Nike Crew. After that talent show I had the artistic bug for entertainment, not just rap.
90% is your business, 10% is your time.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I love performing in concert.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
I don’t have a best punchline cause I’m not a Punchline rapper. I just punchline.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’m currently working on A Song A Day Vol.5 from A song a day mixtape series. While propearing my long over due debut album Exit Murder.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes I would sign to a major, but my take on the pros and cons is meant to be sold and not told. Only in your circle is it free. That’s just my belief of it. Don’t quote on it.
