Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist UK the Joker.
How did you decide to become an artist?
UK the Joker: the main reason why i want it to become an artist because i love music.i’ve been in love with music since i was 5 years old from rhythm and blues jazz and hip hop. my whole life was dealt with music especially having a family that is all musically inclined with everyone
the best advice given to me was to continue doing what I was doing but you cant do this by myself. belief in what one is doing is better than what someone who doesn’t would make u believe the world will be same.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
yes I do I have another performance coming up soon. Afton showcase and Coast to Coast mix tape performance in atlanta
Best punchline you ever wrote?
the ratchet goes clank when my.mind goes blank sheet paper lines of bodies writing my own rough I got the game on lock john cena chain.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
yes i am working on a few projects. my last lp was called cypher 4..
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I’m not sure, maybe
