Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist AROC!.
How did you decide to become an artist?
AROC!: My passion for rapping kept me driven enough to keep pursuing my goal to become a top rap artist. I love what I do. Which is why I never stop pursuing my goal. I believe in my talent and my capabilities of becoming a historic artist, that one day everyone will remember.
Don’t just think like an artist, think like a business man.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes I perform live, from local to major venues.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
You see everyday stressful/ but everyday special and I’m everyday special
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I’m currently working on a mix tape Barz On Steroids and my new single Big Dreams.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not in this point and time in my career. The pros of me signing would be world wide exposure, radio play and legal support I would need to propel my company forward. The disadvantages is giving up 90% of the rights to everything you do, they also do not do artist development very well. They throw you to the sharks and see if you can swim.
