Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Pezylvania.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Pezylvania: I feel like I naturally needed to make music. Music helped me through alot of stuff. Bone Thugs N Hparmony ”Crossroads” for instance, man that song helped me get through the death of my uncle. Hung it up cuz life got to him. 19yrs young. So you know what I mean? Kids started fuckin with me in school, went home got lost in my music. I was the oldest. My role model hung himself so I had to learn it all on my own. All I had was advice from those who went through it. I lived rough inner poor city shit so I needed to relate to. That’s why I rap. It’s just me. So as soon as I had the connection to officially record something, I took it. I than taught myself cuz I hate relying on others when I’m in my zone. I always imagined myself on the radio, in a movie , something just hearing and seeing myself like ”yeah I did that. ” I guess I’m just trying to contribute to what I love.
As soon as you stop making music for yourself, is when youll really start to blow.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Yes I play live. No concerts yet.

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
Currently I am working on a Solo album. I relased a mixtape with local artist who formed the group ” The Akademi” I wrote, recorded,and edited 5 artists and half of the tracks.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Being an independant artist takes alot of extra work. I would eventually sign to a contract when I’m ready. I got allot of proving to do. I’m going where the money is. I just don’t want to be in debt to my label. So im not jumping the gun until I know everything perfect and I can be an asset.
